Marine Electricals get worth Rupees 115 crore order for Tata’s Dholera Semiconductor Manufacturing Plant
Marine Electricals India, an electrical and automation solutions provider, on Monday said it has secured orders worth Rupees 115 crore from Larsen & Toubro for work related to a semiconductor manufacturing plant in Dholera.
he order comes amid India’s push to develop domestic semiconductor manufacturing capabilities, with Dholera emerging as a key hub for such projects. The broader effort aims to strengthen the electronics manufacturing ecosystem and reduce dependence on imports.
The project entails an investment of up to ₹91,000 crore (around $11 billion), with construction expected to begin this year. Once operational, the facility is projected to generate over 20,000 direct and indirect skilled jobs, marking Tata Electronics’ entry into the global semiconductor manufacturing space
